Taking time to visit the city: Acqui Terme, a city chosen by the ancient Romans as a holiday resort for its thermal springs. The heart of the town is the Bollente, an elegant nineteenth-century fountain from which thermal and curative water flows at 75° C. Around the city center you can admire the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta with the Triptych of the Madonna del Monserrat by the painter Bartolomeo Bermejo, as well as the streets and squares rich in civil and religious monuments from the Middle Ages. It will be possible to visit the Paleologi Castle, now home to the Museum of Roman and Lombard Archaeology.
