Monferrato between wines and truffles

The visit will include the location of the Battle of Marengo, its headquarters, the Fontanone where they fearlessly resisted the assault of the Austrians, and the Marengo Park with the Museum and Villa Delavo. Transfer to the Stevani district for lunch at a farmhouse, famous for the production of honey, jams and marmalades, which can be purchased in the shop near the restaurant.
The day ends with the Morbellian route: Angelo Morbelli was one of the greatest exponents of Italian Divisionism. Through a pleasant walk through the hills you will follow an extraordinary route thanks to the panels positioned in the places he reproduced in his works. The route ends at Villa Maria, where the painter stayed and painted the Rosignano hills.
The villa is still the residence of his heirs and can be visited upon reservation. Possibility to end the route with a stop at the Big Bench “Rosso Grignolino” with tasting in the cellar (not included in the fee)
